This book has changed my life exponentialy. It brought about great feeling to know that the way I thought for so long was wasting my time and efforts towards this universe. I never had the courage to succeed for the the fear that great failure would emerge into my life. I came to realize that so much has yet to come and santiago is very much like serg, very much like everyone. Life is a journey and to bring about chance is the only way to see the great fortune of the untold future. For once I am excited to see what happens next in my expedition and It feels great. The power of the mind is stronger than any force. Best book I ever read….not to mention first in years…I hope the movie will have the same impact for many others.
This book does open ones eyes and incourages one to follow their dreams.
I hope the film does impact the world, but it’s sad knowing that many people today will never read the book. The last couple generations seem to have little if any interest in the written word and this scares me when I think about our countries future.

Hopefully all is well….I started reading this book about two years ago and for some reason it got away from me. Just recently I started the book again and I “get it”! It’s an amazing story for the dreamer who needs to know that GOD is going to help us get to that finish line. I love acting and when I read this book didnt know that the author finally has authorized the sale and sold his book to the movie makers. (sounds corny) lol This will be a great inspirational movie ever. the message is very simple, yet millions don’t get it.even if they do, they won’t practice it.
I love to play as Fatima. I believe I have the exotic and innocent look of a girl from Egypt.
I loved this book and if the movie is anything like what the book is like, it will be an inspiration to all who see it. I look forward to seeing it.
One thing that I hope that they emphasize is all are made by the same hand, and that that hand is the one that gives us our dreams and allows us the power to follow our dreams. To follow a dream is the most that anyone can do isn’t it?
